Today on: “Rare photos of my favorite bands I find on the Internet.” I’d like to show you this photo taken (probably between 1987 or 1988) of Metallica sitting in front of what seems to be a promotional poster of my favorite anime (and probably cartoon ever) Dragon Ball.

I was a very big Metallica fan in the old days, when they were still cool and badass, not like today, and in the 80’s many cool cartoons like Dragon Ball were aired on tv on that years. Probably none of the Metallica guys watched Dragon Ball as a 90’s-raised kid have probably done, but I think it’s pretty cool to see this photo of Metallica being a part of the worldwide Dragon Ball premier, a very iconic and epic moment in the Japanese animation history.
